Job summary

Penske is seeking a Technician in Kalamazoo, MI to perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on a varied fleet. You’ll gain hands-on experience across multiple OEMs while keeping safety and reliability as top priorities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and 1–2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience (preferred).
• Valid driver’s license and ability to log, diagnose and repair using Penske tools.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and ensure vehicle safety for customers.
• Log, research and complete repairs using Penske tools and basic diagnostics.
• Perform preventative maintenance such as tire rotation and lubrication on gas/diesel engines.
• Learn new skills through Penske technician training and coaching.
• Collaborate with supervisor and other tasks as assigned.
