Penske Truck Leasing is seeking a motivated Technician for our Albany, NY location to perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs on a diverse fleet. You’ll log work with Penske tools, diagnose basic vehicle issues, and help keep vehicles safe and on the road.

This full‑time, on‑site role offers a 3rd shift with a $4.00 premium, comprehensive benefits, hands‑on training through Penske’s Technician Certification Program, and opportunities for growth within a safety‑focused, team‑oriented

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and 1–2 years automotive/diesel repair experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to use standard shop tools.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and ensure vehicles are safe for customers.
• Log and research repairs using Penske tools, perform basic diagnostics.
• Perform preventative maintenance and common repairs on gas and diesel vehicles.
• Collaborate with manager and technicians for skills development and coaching.
• Assist with other projects as assigned by supervisor.
