Penske is hiring a Technician at 11 Warehouse Row, Albany, NY 12205. The role focuses on preventative maintenance and minor repairs for a diverse fleet, with an emphasis on safety and reliability. You’ll work with advanced equipment and receive substantial hands-on training.

Starting pay is $25.25/hr plus a $4.00 3rd shift differential, with Sundays–Thursdays 11:00pm–7:30am. Penske supports growth, strong benefits, and consistent schedule commitments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• 1–2 years automotive or diesel repair experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on fleet vehicles.
• Log, research and complete repairs using Penske tools; perform basic diagnostics.
• Carry out tire rotation, lubrication and other routine maintenance on gas and diesel engines.
• Learn new skills through Penske technician training and coaching from supervisors.
