Job summary

FleetPride in Lexington, KY is seeking a Diesel Technician II to perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on heavy‑duty trucks and trailers. You will work with limited supervision to diagnose issues and provide accurate repairs, including brakes, suspensions, electrical, and drive components.

The role requires an Associate degree in Diesel Technology and 3+ years of hands-on experience with class 7 & 8 trucks, including 53’ trailers.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Diesel Technology and relevant training.
• 3+ years of experience with class 7 & 8 trucks.
• Experience repairing 53’ trailers.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicles to determine extent of damage or malfunction.
• Provide preventative maintenance solutions and maintain 80% productivity.
• Repair brakes, suspensions, and drive components; test drive and diagnose systems.
