Job summary

FleetPride is seeking a Technician II in Louisville, KY to master preventive maintenance and perform basic to advanced repairs with limited supervision. You will diagnose vehicle system failures and recommend repairs.

Responsibilities include inspections, oil changes, brakes, suspension, electrical and exhaust work, plus maintaining a clean, safe shop in a non-climate controlled environment.

Qualifications

• Diesel technology degree required and 3+ years in heavy-duty trucks.
• Experience repairing 53’ trailers.
• Welding and safety certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Examine vehicles to determine extent of damage or malfunction.
• Perform preventative maintenance and repair with limited supervision.
• Maintain 80% productivity and prevent comebacks.
• Inspect and service brakes, suspension, electrical, exhaust and steering systems.
• Test drive and diagnose vehicle systems using proper equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
