Job summary

FleetPride is seeking a Technician II to apply preventative maintenance, perform adjustments, repairs and component replacements with limited supervision, and to diagnose vehicle system failures and propose accurate repairs.

The role is based in Wisconsin in a non-climate controlled shop. It requires a Diesel Technology associate degree, 3+ years with class 7 & 8 trucks, and experience repairing 53’ trailers. Tools must be provided by the technician, with safety a priority.

Qualifications

• Diesel Technology Associate degree
• 3+ years of experience with class 7 & 8 trucks
• Experience repairing 53’ trailers

Responsibilities

• Examine vehicles to determine extent of damage or malfunction.
• Provide customers with preventative maintenance solution.
• Maintain 80% productivity and prevent comebacks.
• Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes and filters.
• Repair brakes, suspensions, and electrical systems.
