Job summary

Penske is seeking an experienced Technician II in Odessa, TX to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on a diverse fleet. You will diagnose problems, conduct road tests, and complete maintenance tasks while mentoring others and growing your own skills.

Qualifications

3 years of practical vehicle maintenance experience.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational/technical certification preferred.
Specialized training in diagnosis/troubleshooting major components; ASE and 608/609 certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

Make sure vehicles are maintained and safe for customers.
Perform preventive maintenance on trucks and trailers with minimal supervision.
Repair and troubleshoot engines, transmissions, differentials, turbochargers, and fuel systems.
Keep the work area clean and safe.
Utilize Penske tools/tech to log, research and complete repairs, including basic diagnostics.
Learn new skills through Penske's technician training.
