Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing in Bryan, TX is seeking a Technician II to join our maintenance team. You will perform preventative maintenance and repairs on a diverse fleet, diagnose issues, and work with modern shop tools.

You’ll be trusted to work independently, mentor newer technicians, and participate in Penske's training programs to advance your career. A DOT-safety aware environment with strong emphasis on safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• 3 years of practical vehicle maintenance experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational/technical training preferred.
• Experience with engines, transmissions, differentials, and OEM training/ASE certifications is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair vehicles to ensure safety for customers.
• Perform preventive maintenance with minimal supervision.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot components (engines, transmissions, differentials, etc.).
• Keep work area clean and safe.
• Log, research, and complete repairs using Penske tools and tech.
• Learn new skills through Penske training programs.
• Attend to other tasks as assigned.
