Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing Co., L.P. is seeking a Technician II in Indianapolis. You will perform preventative maintenance and repairs on a diverse fleet, working with top-notch tools and technologies to keep vehicles safe and on the road.

You will work with experienced techs, receive ongoing training through Penske's certification programs, and have opportunities for growth in a supportive, safety-focused environment with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• 3 years of practical experience with vehicle maintenance.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• Specialized training in engines, transmissions, differentials; ASE/608/609 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Making sure vehicles are maintained and safe for customers.
• Perform preventive maintenance on truck and trailer equipment with minimal supervision.
• Repair and troubleshoot engines, transmissions, differentials and related components.
• Keep work area clean and safe.
• Use Penske tools to log, research and complete repairs, including diagnostics.
• Learn new skills through Penske's technician training.
