Penske is seeking a Technician in Indianapolis to perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on a diverse fleet. You’ll diagnose, service, and keep vehicles safe for customers, with strong training and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
  • 1–2 years automotive or diesel repair experience preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Ability to solve problems and use tools.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Able to work as part of a team and outside.
  • DOT, OSHA, and Penske safety compliance required.
  • Willingness to travel for training as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Make sure vehicles are maintained and safe for customers.
  • Use Penske’s tools and technologies to log, research and complete repairs, including basic vehicle diagnostics.
  • Perform preventative maintenance—like tire replacement/rotation and lubrication of components.
  • Learn new skills through Penske’s technician training and hands-on coaching.
  • Work on other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.
