Job summary

Penske is seeking an experienced Technician at our Indianapolis location. You will perform preventative maintenance and repairs on a diverse fleet, diagnose issues, and guide others while learning from your manager.

Qualifications

• 6 years of practical experience with truck and tractor-trailer maintenance.
• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational/technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• ASE Certification and 608/609 certifications preferred.
• Experienced using diagnostic tools and general hand/power tools.
• Valid driver’s license required; CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and service trucks and trailers to ensure safety.
• Perform preventive maintenance with minimal supervision.
• Repair engines, transmissions, and differentials, and related components.
• Keep work area clean and safe.
• Use Penske tools to log and complete repairs, including diagnostics.
• Learn through Penske technician training.
• Handle other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
