The role requires hands-on mechanical skills and the ability to work independently while upholding safety standards. Candidates should have strong troubleshooting abilities and experience with ABS, air brakes, electrical systems, welding, and trailer repair.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED and at least one ASE or Michigan Heavy-Duty Truck certification.
• Experience with diesel equipment, trailer repair, or heavy-duty vehicle maintenance.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills; able to lift and work in physically demanding environments.

Responsabilidades

• Perform preventive maintenance inspections and DOT inspections.
• Diagnose and repair diesel and electrical systems.
• Repair components such as brakes, airbags, wheels, and air valves.
• Complete emergency roadside service calls when needed.
• Maintain service records and parts documentation.
• Mentor and support less experienced technicians.
