Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and at least one ASE or Michigan Heavy-Duty Truck certification.
• Experience with diesel equipment, trailer repair, or heavy-duty vehicle maintenance.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills; able to lift and work in physically demanding environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance inspections and DOT inspections.
• Diagnose and repair diesel and electrical systems.
• Repair components such as brakes, airbags, wheels, and air valves.
• Complete emergency roadside service calls when needed.
• Maintain service records and parts documentation.
• Mentor and support less experienced technicians.
