Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing Co., L.P. is seeking an experienced Technician II in Tempe, AZ. You will perform preventive maintenance and repairs on a diverse fleet, working independently and mentoring others.

Qualifications

3 years of practical experience in vehicle maintenance.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
Specialized training and experience in diagnosing/troubleshooting major components (engines, transmissions, differentials); ASE Certification and 608/609 certifications preferred.
Valid driver's license and ability to comply with DOT/OSHA safety policies.

Responsibilities

Ensure vehicles are maintained and safe for customers.
Perform preventive maintenance on trucks and trailers with minimal supervision.
Repair and troubleshoot engines, transmissions, differentials, turbochargers, and fuel systems.
Maintain a clean, safe work area and use Penske tools/technologies for repairs.
Learn Penske's technician training and apply new skills on the job.
Support other projects as assigned by supervisor.
