Qualifications

• 3 years of practical experience with vehicle maintenance required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• Specialized training and experience in diagnosis/troubleshooting major components; ASE certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Make sure vehicles are maintained and safe for customers.
• Perform preventive maintenance services on truck and trailer equipment with little supervision.
• Repair and troubleshoot engines, transmissions, differentials, turbochargers, fuel systems, etc.
• Keep work area clean and safe.
• Use Penske tools and technologies to log, research and complete repairs, including basic diagnostics.
• Learn new skills through Penske technician training; work on other projects as assigned.
