Penske in Tempe, AZ is seeking a Technician II to perform preventative maintenance and diagnose repairs across a diverse fleet. You’ll work with minimal supervision on major and minor projects and mentor newer technicians as you grow.

The role emphasizes safety, reliability, ongoing training, and access to Penske’s industry-leading tools and certification programs, with compensation at $29.82 per hour and shift premiums.

Qualifications

• 3 years of practical vehicle maintenance experience required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational/technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• Specialized training and experience in diagnosis/troubleshooting major components; ASE Certification and 608/609 certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair vehicles to ensure safety and reliability for customers.
• Perform preventive maintenance on trucks and trailers with minimal supervision.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot engines, transmissions, differentials, turbochargers, and fuel systems.
• Keep work area clean and safe; use Penske tools to log and complete repairs.
