Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing Co., L.P. is seeking an experienced Technician I in Tempe, AZ. You will perform preventative maintenance and repairs on a diverse fleet, logging work with Penske tools and ensuring safety and reliability for customers.

You will work with a team, receive ongoing training, and grow through Penske’s technician programs. This role emphasizes leadership potential, fault diagnosis, and adherence to DOT/OSHA policies.

Qualifications

• 6 years of practical experience with truck and tractor-trailer maintenance.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• Specialized training in diagnosis/troubleshooting major components; ASE 608/609 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair vehicles to ensure safety and reliability.
• Perform preventive maintenance with minimal supervision.
• Diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, differentials, and related components.
• Keep work area clean and safe.
• Log and research repairs using Penske tools and tech.
