Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing in Morrisville, NC is seeking an experienced Technician II to perform preventative maintenance and repairs across a range of OEM equipment. You will diagnose problems, complete maintenance tasks, and mentor junior technicians while advancing your own skills.

Qualifications

• 3 years of practical experience with vehicle maintenance required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• Specialized training and experience in diagnosing/troubleshooting major components (engines, transmissions, differentials), OEM training courses, ASE Certification, and 608/609 certifications (preferred).
• Experience using diagnostic equipment, hand tools, and power tools.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair vehicles to ensure safety for customers.
• Perform preventative maintenance services with minimal supervision.
• Repair and troubleshoot engines, transmissions, differentials, turbochargers, fuel systems, etc.
