Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing seeks an experienced Technician at our Vancouver, WA location. You’ll perform preventive maintenance and repairs on a diverse fleet, logging work with Penske tools and diagnostic equipment.

As a Tech I, you’ll mentor others while learning from your manager, with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency. You’ll work independently on major and minor repairs, participate in training, and help keep vehicles in top condition to ensure road readiness.

Qualifications

• 6 years of practical experience with truck and tractor-trailer maintenance.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• Specialized training and experience in diagnosis/troubleshooting major components (engines, transmissions, differentials).
• Experienced using welding, diagnostic equipment, and hand/power tools.

• Maintain and repair vehicles ensuring safety for customers.
• Perform preventive maintenance on trucks and trailers with minimal supervision.
