Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Vocational or technical certification preferred.
• Must have 2+ years of experience with mechanical repairs on heavy/medium duty equipment.
• CDL Class A preferred.
• Basic tools required.
• Experience with diesel engine diagnostics and preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Performs vehicle maintenance and repair duties.
• Performs standard vehicle maintenance and preventive maintenance.
• Diagnoses complex mechanical and electronic problems using diagnostic computer when applicable.
• Completes complex and detailed mechanical inspections and repairs with minimal supervision.
• Works unsupervised on most tasks.
• Interacts with customers/drivers to determine nature of the complaint.
• Utilizes Shop Management System and electronic documentation.
• Follows safety, DOT, MOT and corporate guidelines.
