Job summary

Penske is seeking a Technician to perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on our fleet. You will log, diagnose and complete repairs using Penske’s tools, with ongoing training available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational/technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and 1–2 years automotive or diesel repair experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to use Penske tools.
• Must comply with Penske safety policies including DOT/OSHA requirements and travel for training as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and perform preventative maintenance on vehicles to keep them safe for customers.
• Use Penske’s tools and technologies to log, research and complete repairs, including basic diagnostics.
• Perform preventative maintenance like tire rotation and lubrication; handle some electrical and cooling system maintenance.
• Learn new skills via Penske’s technician training and coaching from supervisors.
