Penske Truck Leasing in Martinsville, VA is hiring a Technician to perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs on a diverse fleet of vehicles. You’ll work with experienced supervisors and master technicians, learning Penske’s processes and earning industry-certified training to grow your career.

Ideal candidates have basic mechanical aptitude, 1–2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience, a valid driver’s license, and a willingness to comply with Penske safety policies and DOT/OSHA

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical aptitude and 1–2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and follow Penske maintenance processes.
• Must have valid driver’s license and ability to pass physicals and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and ensure vehicle safety for customers.
• Use Penske tools to log, research and complete repairs including diagnostics.
• Perform preventative maintenance such as tire rotation and lubrication.
• Learn new skills through Penske technician training and coaching.
• Support other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
