Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing is seeking a Technician in Tuscumbia, AL to perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on our fleet. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair
• Basic mechanical aptitude and 1–2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience (preferred)
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to solve problems and use tools
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work well in a team and outdoors
• Basic computer skills
• Must follow Penske safety and maintenance policies

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on Penske fleet vehicles
• Log, research, and complete repairs using Penske tools and basic vehicle diagnostics
• Carry out preventative maintenance such as tire rotation and lubrication on gas and diesel engines
• Collaborate with your manager and technicians to learn new skills through Penske’s training
• Handle additional tasks as assigned by supervisor
