Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred
• Basic mechanical aptitude and 1–2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience (preferred)
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to solve problems and comfort using tools
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work well as part of a team and outdoors
• Basic computer skills
• Must understand and comply with Penske policies and safety rules
• Willingness to pass DOT/OSHA safety requirements and drug screening as applicable
• Regular, predictable attendance is essential

Responsibilities

• Maintain and ensure safety of vehicles for customers
• Use Penske tools/tech to diagnose and complete repairs
• Perform preventive maintenance like tire rotation and lubrication
• Learn new skills through Penske training and coaching
• Handle additional projects as assigned by supervisor
