Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Maintenance Technician C to perform preventive maintenance on our fleet of diesel and non-diesel equipment. Under supervision, you will inspect, service, and repair vehicles to keep drivers on route, using state-of-the-art equipment and tools.

The role emphasizes following SOPs, basic electrical work, and a path for professional growth within a stable industry. A valid driver's license is preferred, with competitive wages and benefits provided.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of a vehicle's mechanical and electrical systems.
• 1-3 years of experience in maintenance or related field.
• Available to follow SOPs and troubleshoot common faults.
• Completion of a certified diesel maintenance program is a plus but not required.
• ASE T8 PM certification is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on diesel and non-diesel equipment and trucks.
• Carry out basic repairs and light electrical work as needed.
• Conduct visual inspections to identify potential issues and sources of malfunctions.
• Complete required company training programs and duties as assigned.
