Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Maintenance Technician C to perform preventive maintenance on diesel and non-diesel equipment. You will support our drivers, service a modern fleet, and work on technically advanced vehicles.

Training and strong career paths are provided as you grow within a stable industry. Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of experience, basic knowledge of vehicle systems, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Completion of a certified diesel maintenance program is a plus but not required.
• ASE Certification T8 PM is a plus but not required.
• 1–3 years of experience in maintenance or related field.
• Ability to follow SOPs and troubleshoot common faults.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains basic knowledge of vehicle mechanical and electrical systems to perform preventive maintenance and some repair.
• Performs vehicle preventive maintenance inspections, oil changes, fluid replenishment, light repairs, tire changes, and basic electrical work.
• Completes company training programs.
• Performs other duties as assigned or apparent.
