Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Maintenance Technician C to perform preventive maintenance on diesel and non-diesel equipment and trucks. You will work under the supervision of a Lead Technician and gain exposure to state-of-the-art equipment while supporting drivers on their routes.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of vehicle mechanical and electrical systems for preventive maintenance and repair.
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures and troubleshoot common faults.

Responsibilities

• Maintain basic knowledge of a vehicle's mechanical and electrical systems for preventive maintenance and some repair functions.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks such as oil changes, fluids replenishment, tire changes, and light repairs.
• Conduct visual inspections to identify potential equipment issues and sources of malfunctions.
• Complete company training programs and perform other duties as assigned.
