Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing is hiring a Technician at our Spokane, WA location. You will perform preventative maintenance, minor repairs, and diagnostics to keep the fleet safe and on the road.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1-2 years automotive or diesel repair experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to solve problems and use tools.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Team player and able to work outside.
• Basic computer skills.
• Compliance with Penske safety policies and DOT/OSHA rules.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and ensure vehicle safety for customers.
• Use Penske tools/tech to log, research and complete repairs, including basic diagnostics.
• Perform preventative maintenance and component lubrication on gas/diesel engines.
• Learn new skills via technician training and coaching.
• Take on additional projects as assigned by supervisor.
