Penske Truck Leasing Co., L.P. is seeking a Mechanical Technician in Kapolei, HI. You will perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on a diverse fleet, using Penske tools to diagnose and complete repairs while following safety policies. Training and career growth are emphasized.

Preferred candidates have a high school diploma/equivalent, 1–2 years of repair experience, and a valid driver’s license. This full-time role offers competitive benefits and schedule flexibility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• 1-2 years automotive or diesel repair experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license.
• The ability to solve problems and comfort using tools.
• Excellent customer service skills and communication skills.
• The ability to work well as part of a team and outside.
• Basic computer skills.
• The associate must understand and comply with Penske safety and maintenance policies; including use of PPE and tools.

Responsabilités

• Maintain and ensure vehicles are safe for customers.
• Use Penske tools to log, research and complete repairs, including basic vehicle diagnostics.
• Perform preventative maintenance such as tire replacement/rotation and lubrication; some electrical and cooling system work.
• Partner with management to learn new skills via technician training and hands-on coaching.
• Handle other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.
