Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing Co., L.P. is seeking a Technician II in Honolulu to perform preventive maintenance and repairs across a diverse fleet.

You’ll diagnose issues, service engines, transmissions, differentials, and related components, while mentoring peers and growing with expert leadership. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• 3 years of practical vehicle maintenance experience required
• ASE Certification and 608/609 certifications preferred
• Valid driver’s license required
• DOT/OSHA safety policies compliance required

Responsibilities

• Make sure vehicles are maintained and safe for customers
• Perform preventive maintenance services with minimal supervision
• Repair and troubleshoot engines, transmissions, differentials, turbochargers, and fuel systems
• Keep work area clean and safe
• Use Penske tools and technologies to log and complete repairs, including diagnostics
• Learn new skills through Penske’s technician training
• Work on additional projects as assigned by supervisor
