Job summary

Penske is seeking a dedicated Technician in Kennesaw, GA to perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on the fleet. You will log work, diagnose basics, and ensure vehicles stay safe and road-ready while learning Penske’s maintenance processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational/tech certification preferred.
• 1–2 years automotive or diesel repair experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license; ability to read instructions and use tools safely.

Responsibilities

• Make sure vehicles are maintained and safe for customers.
• Use Penske’s tools to log, research and complete repairs, including basic vehicle diagnostics.
• Perform preventative maintenance repairs—like replacing or rotating tires—and completing vehicle component lubrication and replacement, some electrical system repairs, and cooling system maintenance on gas and diesel engine vehicles.
• Partner with your manager to learn new skills using Penske’s technician training and hands-on coaching.
• Work on other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.
