Job summary

Penske in Kennesaw, GA is seeking a Diesel Technician/Mechanic III at entry level to join our growing service team. You will perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on a wide range of equipment, using Penske tools to diagnose issues and complete repairs.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years automotive or diesel repair experience preferred
• Must understand and comply with Penske safety policies including DOT/OSHA requirements
• Ability to pass background screening and drug tests as required
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Maintain and ensure vehicles are safe for customers
• Use Penske tools to log, research and complete repairs, including basic diagnostics
• Perform preventative maintenance and component lubrication/replacement
• Learn new skills through Penske’s technician training and hands-on coaching
• Assist with other projects as assigned by supervisor
