Job summary

Penske is seeking a Technician at the Bloomington, IN location. You will perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on a diverse fleet, using Penske’s tools and training to log and complete tasks efficiently. The role offers growth opportunities and industry-leading safety standards.

Ideal candidates are mechanically inclined with 1–2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience, a valid driver’s license, and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• 1–2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and ensure vehicles are safe for customers.
• Log, research and complete repairs using Penske's tools, including basic diagnostics.
• Perform preventative maintenance repairs such as tire rotation and lubrication on gas and diesel engine vehicles.
• Learn new skills through Penske's technician training and coaching.
• Work on other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.
