Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is seeking a Diesel Technician to diagnose and repair light mechanical issues on fleet and customer vehicles at our Tennessee locations. You will perform preventative maintenance, assist with roadside services, and ensure safety and customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires lifting 75+ pounds, working in varied temperatures, and a rotating day/night schedule. DOT medical card eligibility is supported and paid for by Love’s.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues including wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components
• Assist customers with roadside services
• Provide preventative maintenance services
• Move and lift 75+ pounds and work in close quarters and varying temperatures
• Follow safety policies to ensure customer safety and satisfaction
• Work a rotating day/night schedule as needed
• Possibility to obtain a DOT medical card (paid by Love’s)
