Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is seeking a Diesel Technician in a fast-paced environment. You will troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues, assist customers with roadside services, and perform preventative maintenance to keep customer travel moving smoothly.

Applicants must be able to lift 75+ pounds and work in varying temperatures, with a rotating day/night schedule. DOT medical card eligibility is provided at Love’s expense, and benefits include 401(k), tuition assistance, and health insurance.

Qualifications

• Experience troubleshooting and repairing light mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues that may include wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components
• Assist customers with roadside services
• Provide preventative maintenance services
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds in close quarters and in varying temperatures
• Always prioritize customer safety and satisfaction per safety policies
• Work rotating day/night schedule as needed
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love’s)
