Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is seeking a Diesel Technician to keep our service bays running and customers moving. You will diagnose and repair light mechanical issues, assist drivers with roadside needs, and perform preventative maintenance in a fast-paced shop environment.

This on-site role requires lifting up to 75 pounds, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work rotating day and night shifts. DOT medical card attainment is supported and paid by Love’s.

Qualifications

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues (wheel-end assemblies, electrical, suspensions, A/C, engine components).
• Assist customers with roadside services and provide preventative maintenance services.
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds in close quarters and work in varying temperatures.
• Adhere to safety policies and ensure customer satisfaction at all times.
• Work a rotating schedule with day and night shifts as needed.
• Possess ability to obtain a medical card through the DOT (paid by Love’s).
