Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is hiring Diesel Technicians to diagnose and repair light mechanical systems while delivering friendly customer service to drivers. You will engage with customers and drivers, perform preventive maintenance, and handle equipment safely in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires lifting 75+ pounds, working in varying temperatures, and rotating day/night shifts. DOT medical card may be obtained with Love’s assistance; comprehensive benefits and immediate employment are

Qualifications

Experience interacting with customers in a service setting.
Ability to troubleshoot light mechanical issues and electrical systems.
Willingness to perform physically demanding tasks and rotate day/night shifts.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues (wheel-end, electrical, suspensions, A/C, engine components).
Assist customers with roadside services.
Provide preventative maintenance services.
Ability to lift 75+ pounds and work in varying temperatures.
Uphold safety policies and procedures for customers and coworkers.
Work a rotating day/night schedule as needed.
Potential to obtain a medical card through DOT (Love’s pays).
