Love’s Travel Stops is seeking Diesel Technicians to work in a fast-paced environment, interacting with customers and drivers to make journeys safer and smoother.

Planned duties include troubleshooting and repairing light mechanical issues, performing preventative maintenance, assisting roadside services, and upholding safety policies.

This role requires lifting 75+ pounds, working in varying temperatures, and rotating day and night shifts; Love’s covers DOT medical card costs.

Qualifications

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues as listed in job functions.
• Perform preventative maintenance services and assist with roadside services.
• Move and lift 75+ pounds and work in varied temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues that may include wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components
• Assist customers with roadside services
• Provide preventative maintenance services
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters. Ability to work in various temperatures.
• Always put the safety and satisfaction of your customers first, complying with company safety policies & procedures.
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation. (paid by Love’s)
