Job summary

TravelCenters of America seeks a Diesel Technician to service heavy-duty trucks and trailers at our nationwide network. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain equipment in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment, ensuring road safety and traveler satisfaction.

You will follow established procedures, work with team members, and use your mechanical knowledge to identify wear, perform repairs, and advise customers.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Previous experience in repair or parts shop preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and some holidays.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose wear conditions and, with TSA or Manager, make recommendations to customers.
• Complete repairs within capabilities and as written.
• Understand Truck Service Standard Services and specialized customer programs.
• Follow safety guidelines and report unsafe situations.
