TravelCenters of America in the United States is seeking a Diesel Technician to provide accurate, efficient service by troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing heavy‑duty trucks and trailers. You will work in a safety‑driven environment, delivering customer‑focused service across our Truck Service network.

This role emphasizes following Truck Service standards, recommending necessary repairs, and completing work within capabilities, with opportunities for growth and a comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• Previous experience in repair or parts shop preferred.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Work in a fun, trusting environment focused on providing great service where the expectations of the customer are exceeded.
• Have extensive knowledge of the products we sell and the services we provide.
• Diagnose wear conditions and together with TSA or Manager, makes recommendations to customers.
• Complete repairs within their capabilities and as written.
• Understand Truck Service Standard Services and specialized customer programs.
• Follow safety guidelines and reports potentially unsafe situations caused by team members and/or customers.
