Job summary

TravelCenters of America is seeking a Diesel Technician to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair heavy-duty trucks and trailers at our TA Truck Service locations. You will deliver accurate, efficient service and help return travelers to the road better than they came.

The role requires the ability to work flexible hours, basic computer skills, and a valid driver’s license. We value teamwork and customer-focused service across 280+ locations nationwide.

Qualifications

• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer skills are required.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and some holidays.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Works well with others and is excited to be part of the team.

Responsibilities

• Work in a fast-paced service environment providing great customer service.
• Diagnose wear conditions and make recommendations with TSA/Manager.
• Complete repairs within capabilities and written guidelines.
• Understand Truck Service Standard Services and customer programs.
• Follow safety guidelines and report unsafe situations.
