Job summary

Love’s Travel Stops & Country Stores Inc. is seeking a Diesel Technician to perform light mechanical repairs, assist drivers, and provide preventive maintenance at our Arkansas location. You will operate in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment with safety as a priority.

The role requires lifting 75+ pounds, working in varying temperatures, and a rotating day/night schedule. DOT medical card may be pursued with Love’s support.

Qualifications

• Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues in trucks or diesel equipment.
• Customer service orientation when assisting drivers and travelers.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues involving wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components
• Assist customers with roadside services
• Provide preventive maintenance services
• Move and lift 75+ pounds in close quarters and work in varying temperatures
• Follow safety policies to ensure customer safety and satisfaction
• Work a rotating schedule that may include day and night shifts
• Possess ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love’s)
