Job summary

Love's Travel Stops and Country Stores is seeking Diesel Technicians to work in a fast-paced environment, interacting with customers and drivers to keep journeys on track and days moving smoothly.

You will troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues, perform preventive maintenance, and assist with roadside services. A rotating day/night schedule applies, with safety and customer satisfaction as top priorities, and Love’s pays for a DOT medical card.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues that may include wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components
• Assist customers with roadside services
• Provide preventative maintenance services
• Move and lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters. Ability to work in various temperatures
• Always put the safety and satisfaction of your customers first, complying with company safety policies & procedures
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love’s)
