Job summary

Love's Travel Stops and Country Stores is hiring Diesel Technicians to work in a fast-paced environment, performing troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance on diesel vehicles. You will assist customers with roadside services and operate under safety policies, with a rotating day/night schedule.

Qualifications include ability to lift 75+ pounds, work in varying temperatures, and obtain a DOT medical card (paid by Love’s).

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and basic diagnostic ability.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues that may include wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components.
• Assist customers with roadside services
• Provide preventative maintenance services
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters. Ability to work in various temperatures.
• Always put the safety and satisfaction of your customers first, complying with company safety policies & procedures.
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation. (paid by Love’s)
