Penske Truck Leasing Co., L.P. is seeking a skilled Technician to perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs on our fleet at the Beaumont, TX location. You’ll work with various equipment, logging and diagnosing with Penske tools while ensuring safety and reliability for customers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• 1–2 years automotive or diesel repair experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet DOT requirements.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with problem-solving and teamwork skills.
• Good customer service and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain vehicles and ensure they are safe for customers.
• Use Penske tools to log, research and complete repairs, including basic diagnostics.
• Perform preventative maintenance like tire rotation and lubrication; some electrical and cooling system upkeep.
• Learn new skills through Penske’s technician training and hands-on coaching.
• Collaborate with supervisor on other projects and tasks.
