Penske Truck Leasing Co., L.P. is hiring a Technician in Beaumont, TX. The role focuses on preventative maintenance and minor repairs to keep our customers’ fleets on the road. You’ll work with a variety of equipment and receive robust training and safety guidance.

You’ll join a team that emphasizes safety, efficiency, and professional growth, with competitive pay, shift premiums, and comprehensive benefits. The position is full-time and on-site at the Beaumont location.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred
• Basic mechanical aptitude and 1-2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience (preferred)
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to solve problems and comfort using tools
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Team player who can work outside and in a shop environment
• Basic computer skills
• Must follow Penske safety and maintenance policies including DOT/OSHA guidelines

Responsabilités

• Maintain and service vehicles to ensure safety for customers
• Utilize Penske tools and technologies to log, research and complete repairs, including basic diagnostics
• Perform preventative maintenance such as tire rotation and lubrication on gas/diesel engines
• Learn new skills through training and hands‑on coaching with supervision
• Assist with other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor
