Qualifications

• 1 year of experience with Class A trucks
• Experience with air brakes, hydraulic and electrical systems
• Welding and fabrication experience required
• Tire repair experience preferred
• DOT inspections/compliance experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair truck and trailer components such as doors, floors, side panels, electrical and air brake systems
• Perform preventive maintenance on tractor and trailer equipment and complete repair orders
• Maintain repairs for Class 8 trucks, trailers and yard tractors to maximize safety and reliability
• Operate gauges, forklifts, torches and safety tools in a safe work environment
• Assist drivers with addressing outstanding vehicle issues
