Job summary

Carvana is hiring a Diesel Technician to join our Fleet Maintenance team in Kentucky. You will service Class 8 trucks and trailers, perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs to keep the fleet uptime high.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with Heavy-Duty Class 8 trucks and trailers or similar equipment.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills for diesel engines, transmissions, and vehicle systems.
• Proficiency with diagnostic software and using a laptop for manuals.
• Experience with aftertreatment systems and electrical diagnostics.
• MIG welding experience is a plus.
• Two ASE Certifications within first 6 months (reimbursed).
• Valid Driver's License with clean driving record.
• Ability to perform physical tasks (lifting, bending, etc.).
• Strong attention to detail and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Routine Maintenance & Repair on our fleet.
• Diagnostics using diagnostic tools and software.
• Address issues with aftertreatment systems and electrical diagnostics.
• Collaborate with team to maintain records and minimize downtime.
• Adhere to safety protocols and DOT compliance.
