Job summary

Waste Pro is seeking an experienced automotive technician to diagnose and repair heavy- and light-duty trucks, including gasoline, diesel, and CNG systems. The role may involve welding and fabrication and requires adherence to safety policies.

Candidates should be proficient with diagnostic tools and Service Manuals, and capable of guiding junior technicians. The position emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and strong communication with drivers and managers, with opportunities for ASE

Qualifications

• Knowledge of suspension inspections, diagnosis and repair.
• Experience with brake systems, electrical and hydraulic diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses mechanical problems and repairs trucks to maximize safe operation.
• Communicates vehicle issues to managers/drivers and discusses preventive techniques.
• Completes paper­work in a timely manner.
• Maintains safe work area and follows OSHA standards.
• Uses vehicle electronic systems to interpret failures and initiate repairs.
• Performs safety checks on vehicles and equipment.
