Job summary
Waste Pro seeks skilled diesel/heavy-truck technicians to diagnose and repair engine, transmission, brake, suspension, electrical, hydraulic, and related systems. The role includes working with gasoline, diesel, and CNG systems, plus welding and fabrication as needed.
Technicians are encouraged to pursue ASE certification with company support, including fee reimbursement and a monthly tool allowance up to $80. This on-site position offers comprehensive benefits and career growth opportunities.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of heavy and light truck diagnostic and repair practices.
- Ability to interpret service manuals and tool diagnostics.
- Experience diagnosing engine, transmission, brake, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose mechanical problems and perform repairs on heavy and light trucks to maximize safety and productivity.
- Communicate issues with managers/drivers and discuss preventive techniques.
- Complete all required paperwork promptly and accurately.
- Follow safety policies and keep work area clean and compliant with OSHA standards.
- Utilize vehicle computer systems to interpret failure modes and initiate repairs.
- Conduct safety checks and perform repairs per Factory Service Manuals.
