Cox Fleet offers a paid educational program leading to becoming a Mobile Diesel & Trailer Technician. The program begins with five weeks of paid classroom training in Indianapolis, IN, with travel and lodging provided, followed by hands-on mentorship and further classroom study to enable full-time employment.

Qualifications

• High-School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be able to complete DOT background screening and DOT physical.
• At least 21 years old; valid driver’s license required.
• Willing to study and commit to a multi‑week training program.

Responsibilities

• Complete five weeks of paid classroom training at the Academy Campus (Indianapolis, IN).
• Proceed through mentorship and additional classroom phases to become a Mobile Diesel Technician.
• Perform on-site preventative maintenance and repairs at customer locations as part of the program.
